High Desert Heritage & Research works collaboratively with Tribal Nations, collectors, educators, and communities to support ethical stewardship, repatriation, public education, and cultural preservation across the American West.

Our Story

High Desert Heritage and Research is a small but growing nonprofit organization dedicated to respectfully returning artifacts and sacred items to their Native American tribes.

​We are founded by a dedicated team of professionals who saw an unmet need in both tribal communities and among private collectors, and decided to meet it head on.
